flashed away but still stunned?

This isn't a new bug/problem but I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed as i believe it's been around for at least a few years, since flash mechanics were changed.

The way flash used to work, you would be flashed out and of spells entirely even if it was a targeted spell, similar to fizzs playful trickster.

Now spells like Annies ult (when her stun is up) will still hit the target even if I've flashed out of the area. This to me is pretty dumb. It seems the way it should work is, either the spell hit me and stunned me keeping me from wasting my valuable long cd summoner spell, or I was successful and managed to flash away and not take dmg or stun from the spell. The fact that I can flash away yet still take damage and be stunned at the location I flashed to is pretty ridiculous.

Could this be fixed by adding a very brief stun immunity to flash (that only affects skill shots) in order to offset any latency issues that occurs between me and the client determining who used their spell first?

And/or give Annies ult an animation or cast time so it's more that it takes more than luck to dodge the stupid thing.

Are you sure Annie didn't stun you with her Q? The projectile follows you when you flash, so you still get hit by that. Her ult shouldn't stun you if you flash out of the area.

Eh, I think its fair. Given flash is an instantanious jump away, it would be kinda bs if your ability was wasted because they flashed. Its not a status effect removal, just a mobility ability. Get cleanse if you want stun removal.
