Priority of the pre-game loading screen

Is there a way to keep the pre-game loading screen from prioritizing itself first above the other programs I have running on my machine? I find it rather annoying that I can't watch you-tube while waiting for games to load after character selection without waiting a certain amount of time before I can minimize the client. I just don't understand why I am being forced to watch everyone go from 0-x%.
