Suggestion: Ability to check teammates most played champs in their role (champ select)

Just tossing an idea in the air, feel free to scrap it.

I've had many games where someone doesn't indicate the champion they would like to play and it gets accidentally banned by a teammate. Or someone bans a champion that is in a teammates pool unknowingly.

Would there be a benefit to adding the ability to cursor-hover over a teammates name during champ select, and a pop-up displays showing their top 'x' (3?) most played champions in their respective role?

I know you can quickly search them up on op.gg or whatever database website is out there, but I personally see more good than harm coming from this function.

What do you think?

It'd just be another tool for people to use to bitch at others.

'WHY U PICK ASHE?! U USUALLY PLAY CAITLYN!"

I personally don't hover for 2 reasons:

  1. Which champion I might play greatly depends on: 1A. What my teammates pick. 1B. What my opponents pick/ban.
  2. I've had my hovered champ banned by trolls too many times. Just best not to give them the opportunity

Copy and paste the chat messages about players entering the lobby into op.gg multi search. It is capable of finding the player names from that and looking them up. Actually, I think you can paste into their regular search, and it will bring up the multi search.
