Why I think Fiora's new ultimate fits her theme relatively well.

Envision this. She's against her arch-nemesis in a duel. Both of them have injured each other near the point of death. Fiora realizes that she needs but a few more strikes to finish her opponent off, but her opponent is plotting something big to finish her off before she can even manage those last hits. Her opponent strikes swiftly; so swiftly she cannot counter, and she falls to the ground, dropping her sword and nearly passing out from pain. She begins to watch as her reputation fades. The crowd watches, in absolute horror as the "grand duelist" looks to fade away. However, something sparks in her. She stands back up, appearing completely unfazed from what should have been enough to kill her. She develops a look of anger; an expression that said "You don't believe I would give up that easily, now do you?" She smiles creepily, and lunges forward, quickly striking four times in the their most vulnerable parts, of which she learned about back when she used to practice dueling with her father. The opponent screams in wincing pain and falls to the floor. As they near death, Fiora aims her sword directly at their neck, and says "Always one step ahead." They then pass out. Fiora looks around her, and realizes the crowd is in complete disbelief after what they just witnessed. Not even three seconds later, she hears them all cheer for her. She had won. The crowd goes absolutely wild, and a spotlight shines right where she is standing. In awe, she strikes an awesome pose and remains there. Somehow, she feels recovered; as if she could fight a thousand times more and still have the energy to continue...

When I think of her ultimate, I imagine this. She just barely scrapes a victory versus her opponent, and when she does, everyone cheers her on, and thus she feels better. This is why I believe her ultimate is thematically cohesive and does not need modifications.

Except the enemy won't sit still and allow her to slash them in 4 directions. Her new ult is weak in team fights. I preferred Blade Waltz cuz that gave Fiora her identity to me

Wait, are you talking about in-game, or in this scenario? I mean, in-game, yes it's very difficult to land (I imagine). But in this scenario, it's supposed to be more like she struck fear in her opponent by standing back up and appearing unharmed, and she struck him so fast in such a short burst he couldn't even react and just fell to the floor.

In-game I meant, sorry for not clarifying.

Oh! Okay, well I've been spectating a few games with Fiora's in them recently, and I must say that, although it seems weak in team fights, with Furor enchant on boots, I've seen quite a few of them do well. I imagine that yes, it would be really difficult to get all four off, that it can be solved with boots of swiftness, or other boots w/ Furor, or even better yet, Phage, as these will help her maneuver to all four sides. I haven't tried it myself yet in the PBE, however I will soon and I'll let you know if her ult functions well in team fights with these types of boots/enchants. Thanks for the input <3

Thanks much!

her new lunge targets the vital points.

Doesn't mean you'll be able to get all four vital points off in a team fight. Maybe one if you're lucky.

with the speed boost it won't be that hard.

Tell that to the Lux you're targeting that can stun you and walk away and you can tell that to her teammates that are beside her.

I was thinking along the same lines. I view it as a morality boost for the team when she defeats the enemy (or gets the vital points, whichever)

Yes exactly!! I like your wording!!! Morality boost, that's what it is <3

It works just fine... if you want to play her as a support. :)

Well, doesn't really matter, since you will never be able to proc that ult against decent opponents anyways.

Your story is really cool. But gameplay wise I feel like it's really stupid. You are giving a high DD champ a massive AoE Heal. I'll rather give AD/AS/AP or something like that. Maybe each time she hits one of the weak points the bonus increases, and if she manages to hit all for points BOOM super buff. It will do wonders for her 1 v 1 and I believe will give the same feelish you were trying to recreate.

The problem I see is that it can turn around a losing fight by simply standing there and Regening massive amounts of HP. Doesnt feel very duel ish for me.

Although the ult I just described work better for aatrox

Very nice input, thank you for the response! I can definitely see what you mean and how the "sitting there and doing nothing while healing" aura doesn't really give the whole "duelist" feeling, and I would actually love to see them modify it like what you said, maybe that would make her feel more like a duelist. I don't know, I just was trying to make sense out of her ultimate :P.

I just think it should have a more aggressive approach. I'm fine with the mini game part of it, and the fact that all the hits give massive true dmg is something to keep an eye on, but considering it shouldnt be so easy to hit all four spots, then its manageable.

Here is an idea. If she hits all 4 weak points, it resets with one less weak point (the last one she hits) then if she hits all 3 other, it refreshes only 2, hits those 2 and you are left with 1. Feels very duel ish to me.

Or if she kills one marked enemy champion, she can either cast it again on to an other enemy champion, or it works like malz aids, and spreads into the closest enemy champ. That way she can still destroy whole teams, but you know, with actually counter play.

I see, I actually like this idea a lot!! I prefer the mini-game version of it myself; I feel like this will make her more fun for the user and the opponent!

Actually I like my first idea a lot. Will make her 1 v 1 extreamly fun and powerful, but will prob suck on team fights, since she needs to hit 10 weak spots to do dmg.

Ofc that means the proc dmg has to be tonned down by alot.
