Definitely Not Dominion

I'm a big fan of this map. The updated visuals alone make it just seem way more fun to play. It has lost a bit of the classic dominion feel without the bottom lane, which makes it a bit harder to sneak capture points, but I really like the way it plays. The altar in the middle is a huge improvement, and the ultra minion relic adds a really nice aspect to the gameplay. The (imo) success of the "remake" of dominion makes me wonder why Rito didn't replace dominion with this for all 12 of you dominion lovers out there. However, I'm having a lot of fun with this mode and really like the changes personally. GJ with this one Rito.

My biggest gripe with DnotD is how deep free vision goes into the Jungle. It makes setting up ganks more difficult, though I suppose that might have been to make pushing lanes a little bit less of a trap. Gives you some more time to respond to minion relic attempts, too.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Storm Alter moved to the middle of bottom lane and some other objective added to the middle of the map to fight over. With the absurdly low respawn times and fewer points to contest, it feels like the map needs at least one more objective to fight over.

the big issue with this is that the only thing that matters is the windmill. Kills don't count nothing really matters except the windmill. Its just a team fight at windmill for control to see who wins.

I like it but the people who play it are terrible at it.

It's literally pure luck whether you get people who are just going to go full ARAM over the mid map buff, or you'll luck out and get 4 other people that just zerg capture points. Had one game where only me and another person actually fought over the top control point, the 3 other players just kept fighting and dying all over again, and then I had another game where we straight up stomped all the way to the capture point in front of their base and constantly occupied it. The game was over in, like, less that 15 minutes.

It can't be helped really. Since it's only available on the weekend.
