Laning against Ryze top is frustrating

He shoves the wave hard while csing. Outranges you by whole lot. Is safe with his movement speed and shield. Can reliably deal damage with his point and click snare/flux. Scales well into the late game.

So every time you feel like just curling up into a ball when you see him waiting in lane, think of this video. The creator of it quit btw, because he can't get that freelo from spamming Ryze top anymore.

The funny thing is, in the midlane, Ryze was bullied by other mages because much they had longer range than him. Top is an easy lane because of that huge range advantage. I'm not biased at all, I played him a lot and know how oppressive and unfun it was up there.

Note: I'm not one of those top Ryze's anymore. My Tear of the Goddess is already stacked up with the sobs of my enemies >:D. Since the VGU my domain is mid now.
