Wall, stun, slow, easy stacks and safe auto attack poking. The wall gimps so many junglers pressure and can turn a 3v2 into a 2v1 in a snap.

I like picking her support with a vayne adc because i can wall behind them to give vayne the condemn stun.
You forgot Anivia's passive allows for some pretty vicious trolling/baiting/self-sacrifice.
Anivia is unreliable support and has mana problems.
She runs into mana problems really hard, and she doesn't really offer anything that other disengage supports don't. There are some gimpy, fun lanes that you can run (Vaynivia's level 3 all-in is BRUTAL; wall into stun into stun into E into ignite kills anything), and Graves can do some of the same stuff, but she depends so much on getting her tear or RoA up and stacking to remain relevant that it's hard to make it work.
She has mana issues and I don't think her ult is great for bot lane in only that it can take too much CS.
Or you could go mid and kill everything while you wall, stun, and slow
