Short story I got stomped by a Ryze top. His spell spamming is way to powerful for my life steal, and at one point he was basically walking under tower and bursting me. Is there any way to win this matchup or am I up a creek with no canoe?

Carnarius1 votesyou need to play safe at least till you have boots of swiftness and spirit. it's not the hardest lane to be honest, assuming you are not heavy camped. just watch his passive stacks. whenever he is charging them, it's a signal for you to go back, if he is not charging them tho, he is not a big thread. if you are confident, you can get sheen after cowl, it will give you huge life steal and extra kill potential, if your jungler realizes that
Ravenous Howls1 votesRyze is such an easy match up. First of all you need to learn to lane as Nasus. Don't aa minions when you first get to lane and only q them when they are low for a stack and aa once the ones about to die while SS is on CD. Let him AA you once in a while so he takes minion agro auto pushing the wave to your tower. Once under tower farm and get enough for components of spirit visage. A dorans's shield is a good starting item as it reduces the damage of AA and single target spells that Ryze has. Once you have spirit visage and mercury treads teach him to respect the cane!!!
