Duo queuing should be eliminated from Ranked play.

Something that I have noticed throughout my years of league of legends is that too often am I put at a disadvantage due to duo partners queuing up, usually with someone that is lower ranked and higher ranked, thus putting the enemy stats at a higher rate. In a visual sense, by the one player hooking up with a lower ranked player, it tips the balance in the enemy's favor, usually by a full rank above. This is especially critical when it comes to the barriers between Bronze/Silver, Silver/Gold, Gold/Plat etc. etc.

My proposal is that instead of allowing players to queue up with one another from such a huge distance (I.E. Silver 5 queued up with silver 2/1 friend), we remove the duoing option and make ranked about what it's meant to be about: Working alongside of of strangers to strengthen bonding skills (And the obligatory "WOMBO COMBO" factor).

Another perk with the removal of duoing will prevent higher league smurfs from creating an alt and power leveling it to 30, then boosting a friend to the next league (Which would then make that player perform badly, as he/she would not have the skill required to face the next league.)

Now I realize that this is a somewhat touchy topic, and I can already hear it in my head what the toxic (A good portion of the community) part of the forums will say: "Git gud scrub", "gr8 b9 m1103021-942491249012449, I rate 8/8", but for those of us that REALLY want to get better at league, and share similar experiences, I propose this as an alternative to League of Legends' future.

Any Reds are welcome to direct me to where I might be able to show this to someone higher up to actually get this signed.

I see where you are coming from, but you have to think about it like this. What you just stated ( higher ranks duoing with lower ranks) Does not effect the their teams overall MMR. First of all you cant duo with some one unless they are within 5 divisions of you, which to be honest isn't much of a skill difference. Also there are many people, who basically ONLY duo queue. You would be taking them out of ranked. Its something you should look into more, and see the more long term effects of it.

its ranked solo. Duo is something I am very against, often times its someone bad being carried by a smurf who can out right carry the game and it feels like a pointless win or theyre awful and feed.

If duoing in ranked is going to continue then they should make it high risk to go with the reward like the amount of lp gained isn't as high or something.
