Would Dota's Laning Style work in a LoL Game?

By Laning style i mean instead of having a jungler and a top-lane tank you would substitute them for a top lane hard carry and hard support. The benefits of doing this are you would have an extra carry (either ranged or melee) and better vision after the early Laning phase. This would also free up both red and blue buffs for anyone on your team to use, instead of them normally just going to a jungler

Some would say the downside to this would be the enemy team could take advantage of your jungle camps, but with good ward placement you can easily catch an enemy jungler Invading and gain a free kill.

It could certianly work. The reason it's done the way it is in LoL right now is because you get a solo lane of xp so that lane levels faster than a second duo lane would.

This method gets your jungler who typically also levels faster than the duo lanes, not by much, but still faster. You then have a constantly roaming lane who is able to influence all lanes easily. Later on in the game the buffs are typically given up, Blue goes to mid lane starting with the second or third buff, red buff goes to the ADC soon as grouping starts usually.

I think this method allows you to get more out of the League of Legends map than you would get utilizing two duo lanes.

Yes and no..... At first, it wouldn't really work. The shared experience would result in those two players being lower leveled, and while they could still bully the solo laner, eventually they would bounce back (some solo laners can even hold their ground against a support and a carry. Lane swaps have shown this very much). If however, this tactic was successful (and in a high level, high notariety game), then we could start to see both teams employing this strategy, which would equal it out.

Personally, I don't see this happening anytime soon. A reason it was able to happen on DoTA is because you can deny experience and gold from the opponent by killing your own creeps, something you can't do in league
