Preseason is a time of EXPERIMENTING!

So the board is filled with THIS IS OP, THAT IS OP, WTF DAT CRIT, OMG NERF PLZ, AD ITEM TOO STRONG! Calm down guys, its only preseason. This is probably the most chaotic time where a lot of changes happen. So be patient, Rito is going to start cleaning up things soon. Meddler actually answer and explain a lot of things so read them. Here's the link to his profile: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/player/NA/Meddler

It's also actually pretty funny watching all the players who are confused and dazed at the new items, the amount of dmg some champions can do, and also forgetting that all the mastery pages have been reset. Its about the time of experimenting so just relax, chill, and play the game. PS: I recommend you guys to try and play mages right now since most team will be having 2 or more adcs so it is really fun to burst down these squishy people with long range Lux or burst Leblanc (And the mastery for ap is actually not as bad as people say)

preseason is indeed about testing. the problem is that riots version of testing is permanent implications. they tested the new jungle and left it almost exactly the same when it launched. if they follow this trend do you think people have a fair outcry or do they not deserve a voice against changes that will most likely be permanent?

I think a lot of this could have been avoided if Riot listened more to the beta testers and pbe boards, which to my understanding they didn't do much cause i saw seeing people upset about the changes/ wanting to clarify stuff on them for a while. If they would have listened they would have avoided so much backlash, instead of focusing on worlds, worlds, worlds, worldsharrowingworlds worlds worlds.

They should have split their work force into, worlds, harrowing, and this update, that way something might have calmed down the boards from exploding if people didn't feel like they where being ignored.

Maybe we don't want to spend the next two months in awful, one-sided unfun games? Maybe we just want to play and have fun? Maybe "experimenting" didn't need to be shoved down our throats to make the game pretty unplayable for people?

Experiment: Play mage with new masteries+ old item build Get destroyed by Yasou

Play mage with new masteries+ new item build Get Destroyed by Tryndamere

Play mage with different masteries+ new item build Get destroyed by any Marksmen.

Conclusion further experimentation not required to realize a heavy disparity between AD and AP

Further more. I could use a hug

I though PBE was for that... but meh, call me when you have done your beta-testing and this "Season 6 early access" bullshit.

Meanwhile, I have better games to play. Sure, I know there are more people playing on Live servers and they get more feedback ... but the thing is, I don't get paid to find bugs and ways to make their game balanced.

Fantastic tip bro. And what do I do if I want to play a Jungler? Or just don't want to be forced to play a long range mage because I never liked them before? People don't like this preseason because it made certain characters FAR too opressive, and it was obvious they woudld be far too opressive, but hey, can't know for sure intill it's unleashed on the playerbase, right? I hav had two, TWO whole Normal games without Graves on the enemy team. Won one, lost one. But I lost every time when I had to deal with an ADC whose Q deals more base DMG than Veigar's W, and whose AA's deal double DMG to Melee champs trying to fight him.

Then we see some nerfs on the PBE and it reduces his 480 Q to be 430 or something. it isn't a fun time for anyone but the Graves player. Of course, other people may be luckier, but for me this patch has made me feel like I was being punished in several ways (less gold for the jungle, ADCs early game is now stronger so they aren't as easy a gank, item costs up, etc, etc), all to the howls of ADC's "Junglers had their meta! You can't complain." etc, etc. I gues you should blame the unhappiness with this patch by the factthat ot everyone can play an ADC, so they end up having less fun (mages feeling they are cheated out by ADCs nuking harder and STILL rightclicking good, as well as the increased item prices, supports not liking the ward timers increase and top laners not liking having to deal with Yasuo and Trynd outsustaining them due to their nutty synergies with a mastery).

tl;dr when you clearly buff only a SINGLE subset of the playerbase and everyone else gets nothing or ends up being outright WORSE, it's expected there will be backlash, and no amount of "It's preseason guise!" will change it. After all, for all we know, most of these changes are here to stay. Also, how on earth is this preseason as remotely as bad as Preseason 5? Only people complaining there were freshly minted junglers about how they keep dying after their 3rd camp, and the subset of "I want my paultry Dragon gold!" as far as I remember...
