NERF THE KRAKEN B****!

Of all the champs to come out, I've never laned against something so burstful, yet tanky. Hadn't played in a month, get on the game, my 1st match I get laned against the freaking Kraken B**** Illaoi! Luckily I picked MonkeyKing. But her tankiness/sustain/damage is way off balance! I made 2 mistakes laning against her and got killed both times! I didn't even know they were mistakes until after I made them.

1st mistake: Trying to recall with low health, having a tentacle spawn on my f*ing turret and killing me! 2nd mistake: Jg and mid came to gank at level 6, the b** used her ult and got a triple kill!

Then there was the team fight mistake, I normally lead the engage with Wukong E to the squishy, QR, not possible against her. Even though we killed all four of her teammates, we still had to back off of her until the tentacles went away since she was gaining so much health from slapping all 5 of us. Wasn't able to kill her until Veigar stunned her.

  1. Lol. Also, you should've noticed that you are spawning tentacles.
  2. Lol. Also, all of you shouldn't stand really close together. That and I assume none of you had GW.

As for the team fights, well again with GW.

Then yes, I actually ran summoner 3 summoner 14 which is possibly the only reason I won the lane against her.

She needs a rework actually she's unforgiving to lower elos but if you play properly she's pretty weak outside of ulti which you should move from. The first link has my suggestion which will allow riot to tune down her damage but in the mean time I suggest

I destroyed her no problem, my two deaths were solely based on my ignorance of her kit. 1) Didn't know you became a vessel after escaping spirit zone. 2) I knew getting slapped by a tentacle did a lot of damage, but I didn't know it healed the b****.

To balance her, they simply need to remove the tentacle healing aspect.

Nah if they removed the healing she would be even weaker than she is now, more and more people are adjusting to playing on her fatal weaknesses and starting to dominate her more. Any nerfs and she'll just be non-viable, heck the only saving grace that she doesn't fall into urgot-tier is she's new.

I hope riot reworks her cause I do love her design and lore but with how good players practice more and more around just negating her completely she's going to go downhill.

I've been playing since late late S2 and never have I seen a more OP 1v1 champ. I guess Renekton MonkeyKing Jax Riven might have been, but they were balanced way before I came along. The last time I laned against something that hard was Darius, but my MonkeyKing destroyed him as well.

I fought Illaio before. Her tentecals are really easy to dodge, since they paint a huge target in the ground where they are going to strike. Also you can recall after the tentacule spawns, since it's another 10 secs before her E summons another one up.

I didn't read up on her before I played. Didn't know after I escaped the "spirit zone" I was in danger still. She didn't have enough health to attack me under turret. So I pressed "B" then I pressed "O" then I realized I was dead. When I closed the shop, I saw the tentacle spawned on my turret... that the turret refused to shoot.
