i had a game that was lost in 13 mins for the first time in my life ... and the only lane that lost was top trynda vs jax , jax won the lane and finished it in 13 min i played another game where sion top laner was just running into towers and he went 4/16 but finished the game in 20 minates we lost that one only because hes team was good at defing and he was just eating turrets ...

i dont understand didnt this new update ment to make the turrets last longer ?? right now the game is circling around a handful of champions that are monsters early and good for pushing ... some champions are not viable at all ... now the games are being finished in 15 to 25 mins all the time i have no game that goes above that and im talking about gold and plat elo here all game run over 35 minates almost ...

come back is near impossible now , im not having fun with this game anymore its just stress and stress and stress .. cmon riot ....

Luckily, first turret now also gives a 950g total - further reinforcing the team with the worst player loses the game.

These turret changes further enhances snowballing.

I already hate the changes - keep total tower gold to 250g/550g (would prefer 250g/400g), can we? Or at least keep the 800g plating on outer turrets, so there's a real chance of comebacking, and meaning in defending outer turrets further in the game.

I've already promised myself if Riot doesn't take another direction with their "snowbally, one shot burst, dashes and knock-ups everywhere" clown fiesta, I'm gonna stop. Game is just not truly fun anymore. It's like 1/4th fun, 3/4th bashing your head through a brick wall.

Season 5 for me was the high point of the game. Back when you had boot enchants, upgradeable vision trinkets, a more tactical approach to laning and teamfights overall, no keystones to break balance (and less god damn burst, due to ie. no duskblade, no keystones and no stormrazor), no mage rework (lol).

Tanks felt tankier...

Ofcourse there was bullshit back then too - there's just a lot more of it now...

EDIT: The expression "One step forward, two steps back" fits the balance team in a nutshell.

People keep telling me Riot isn't killing their game, well guess what, I think it is time people actually realise this now. Been saying it for a year.

I really expected these plates to... Actually do something. Wasn't the idea that they are like their own thing, you will have to tear down before getting to the turret? But they are just... There giving gold. They share the health with the turretand I have yet to notic any difference and how long it takes to take them down

13m is an improvement, before preseason, towers were down at 10m on average and 5-8 on lanes getting stomped. On average now i am seeing them go down around the 16m mark and the earlier tower ive seen today was 13m and they were getting stomped.

I think it's not because towers are weak. I think it's because people focus on turrets more now, because they get rewarded so hard. I can tell from my perspective as Jungler. Before the change i gank a lane, help pushing and then often go to another lane or back in jungle since i don't deal much DMG with auto attacks anyway. NOW i try to do as much DMG as possible to tower at every gank, because of the gold reward. Also i play with demolish now as tanky Jungler, because there is nothing else to pick in the first row of Resolve tree as a jungle Tank/Juggernaut after they changed it.

The reward for breaking through plating is too enticing. Why win my lane when I can just ward river and shove you under tower and farm gold off your tower? xD You can do this really easily with Caitlyn right now. Like it's almost not even fair.

Honestly these new turrets r dumb. One gank and recall and your turret is gone and on top of that they get bonus gold tbu old turrets were 100x better. (Plus inting Sion actually works better now :( )

Yikes this patch is just... yikes. I Swear I had a Veigar 6-aa an inhib turret. Whoever thought that this patch was a great idea needs to be corrected. Last season was manageable but this preseason is just garbage. It's less of a strat game but more of a stat checking everyone else. I had games where 1 lane lost us the whole game because there is no counterplay to said champ other than bending over and getting wrecked. Champion damage does not make sense anymore. Just Rito pls, I'm tired of this unending 1-shot fiesta [zombie-nunu-bummed]

I like the plating system but after 14 minute, I feel like tower are made of wet paper and break way to easily... Right now plating made the tower worth as they have increased AD. The thing that bother me is the bonus gold you get for destroying plating...

Nullifying the armor was an insane idea. That means assassins or anyone with armor/magic penetration will be chunking these turrets. Outer turrets aren't too bad but inner, inhib, and nexus turrets need to scale higher and faster. They ought to also ramp up a bit faster too. If you've played Treeline, you'd know those turrets HURT.

I watched a turret get 310 armor in a game of mine, and it still just disappeared. Like, I don't know what they did, but an armor with 310 armor and mr should be able to last a lot longer.

And to even get to 310 armor, you need to be destroying a tower fast. So that just shows that turrets still mean jack shit.

Because of turret plating, being able to hard push and win your lane is rewarded a lot. Snowballing gets even more important because of this. Also, minions do a lot more damage so the winning team can push even harder.

I noticed this while I was playing on PBE, it is kinda easy to take turrets down, especially with the balance change with the Demolish Rune. It's real wonky since laning phase can be decided in under 15 minutes. MasterYi item 3153

There is not 13 minutes game in your match history, turrets are good change overall for the game, cut the attitude.

As a split pusher the shields have slowed my push greatly. I used to consistently get first tower sub 6-10 minutes.

Outer turrets last longer, minions push harder. So puter turrets last much longer but all others die faster.
