EVERY game dies eventually, you cant just heil the end of league as if it was supposed to never die and take credit for your hopes and wishes against it.
It has survived for almost a DECADE and it may very well last even longer, if you truly didn't care about league you wouldn't keep track of it hoping for it to die, so for your sanity I suggest you avoid doing just that.
