Yes, it does, but not in a negative way.

Interesting bit of history: The bot lane originally started doing the duo lane over Top lane so that it could pressure Dragon more. That's why duo bot is the standard way to play.

And when both teams have equal access to Baron and Dragon, They just create objectives to fight over, rather than creating imbalance.
