Sona's rework is quite flawed

EDIT : How about you guys READ the post before you downvote

She has no fallback pattern when she or her team gets behind because she does nothing impactful and she needs huge amounts of AP on a support, Soraka can spam heal + global heal, Janna can physically move the enemy team, Taric can (now) make his entire team invunerable, CC supports have CC on basic abilities so they are never useless, Bard can Zhonya's an entire team and make portals through terrain, etc etc, what does Sona do that's impactful? A 1.5 second stun on an ultimate ability?

And if she does get ahead she's stupidly oppressive because people build her full AP mage (and they have to because that's currently the only way you're gonna get anything out of her) and does huge amounts of damage, literally the only reason people are playing Sona right now is for her Q, she's literally a Q and an ult bot

Like I said in my other thread

"Sona's new "tag your ally" aura actives pale in comparison to her old kit auras in every way, and her new aura actives don't make up for her only having one source of hard CC vs. supports who have hard CC's on basic abilities, the new aura actives are too underwhelming"

I know this thread is gonna seem "salty" or whatever, but it really pains me seeing that my main is just sitting here in this state and she hasn't gotten anything kit wise in the longest of times, it feels as if Riot literally just ignores Sona, I don't want my champion to be extremely feast or famine, I want to be able to come back on games as Sona and allow the enemy team to be able to make come backs as well, I want to feel like my champion is actually impactful, like the other supports in the game, I don't want to have to stop playing my champion when I start playing ranked because she's a cheesy AP poke bot

I also want Sona's fantasy of a "musician AOE buff/debuff support" to be more implied, because ever since the rework, it's lacking. Sona pre-rework really was the perfect champion for this sort of thing

Stuff like this is why we can never get a serious discussion going on about this champion, or be taken seriously in general

This is not helpful, it's not helpful at all, nor is it constructive

Global passives, Riot removed that for a good reason.

Old Sona with her auras is the equivalent of "global passives", since all she does is sit there with her team and just be the aura machine.

There is zero interaction involved, it is literally "the team with Sona wins", that has to go. Now the only thing I'm seeing is people crying over shit people can't use.

A lot of people have said that Meddler specifically said he does not like Sona so there is always that lol it makes me mad because I love Sona and she is my go-to support, mained her support for a long time. I miss old Sona and really wish they would help her out a bit.

They made a no risk high reward champion to no risk no reward. The new sona is just weak, you need strong snowballing (luck) to remain relevant.

Ah yes, Sona, a freaking mess of a champ. If i ever feel like using the mystery gift skins that for what ever reason i get, when i barely player her.

She desperately needs some form of help. But her kit is just no relevant this meta, and changing numbers can make her see more play, but wont fix the actual problem at all.

I don't see Soraka players QQing that they need AP to have impactful abilities, or Janna players (although she's less reliant on AP). Although I agree more emphasis should be placed on her other abilities rather than her Q, and she should definitely be more of a buffer/debuffer.
