Do Thresh and Blitz become useless if they miss their q?

? I'm saying Blitz does and Thresh doesn't, but what do you think?

Blizt so useless... Only worthy when caught someone brave with E + R.

Tresh not at all ...he has his lantern and then anything more that defend mele position.

I dont like them in the normal map... They are better in Aram IMO.

Blitz becomes pretty much useless if he misses his Q, because his other abilities heavily rely on it.

Thresh still has a few useful abilities even if he misses. He can knock back multiple enemies at once with his E for peel, he can shield or save one of his teammates if they get caught with his lantern, and he can usually force a flash out of someone if he catches them inside his ult.

Blitz is awful without Q.

Thresh can block dashes with E, make a pick with Flash E, and save teammates with W.

Biltz can also make a pick with Flash knock up. So that one cancels out. Blitz can also stop dives with his silence, so that too cancels out. Thresh can certainly save teammates, but the other two are not unique to him.

Mostly. It's a weakpoint in the timing rotations, so smart botlaners push to fight when it happens. Wouldn't say useless, but there is a lot of power in the hook that just isnt available for a long time.

nonsense blitz can walk up knock you up and ult you, still does damage silence and, anyone can finish after that, and after several seconds passed blitz might be able to Q again O.o and if blitz gets in danger he shields and increases movements speed just enough to get away. lvl 18 blitzcrank no ap does 1800+ damage 400 ap blitz 2222 dmg aprox.

on top of that blitzcrank is main tank and sub fighter, not sure about the fighter part, but blitz is used as a tank, thus can absorb damage.

to say his play revolves alone around the Q is not true.

I'm pretty sure (most) people wouldn't just let you walk up to them and knock them up with your E and then ult them.

He can only do something like that if he has flash or if the enemy is distracted with something else, but besides that I don't see that kind of strategy really working.

Yeah, he can absorb a lot of damage, can't argue with that. But so can Thresh, and he also has a lot more cc and protection to assist his team.

And finally, Blitz's damage actually isn't as high as it actually seems (except early game, I guess). It seems like a lot on paper, but then you also have to count in the enemy's resistances, their support's shields/heals/actives, and so on. So unless he's building full ap, Blitz will have a bit of trouble bursting someone down at mid/late game.

blitz can jump in 1vs5 ult silence he gets a shield runs out, and the rest of the team can jump in ? blitz can sandwich opponents..... go 1vs1 miss his q can stall opponents with E and ult to finish with basic attacks or a Q.

he has more abilities than Q o.o to say he's useless just because he would miss his Q is ridiculous O.o without his Q blitz can still do 1500 ish damage O.o thats still more than half the hp an adc has. and thats without ap .-.

you can even push the maximum cdr....
