If players could see how much gold they fed the enemy team

So I was thinking it might be a good idea if end-game screens tracked a new stat: how much gold the enemy team made off of you. It's a glaring problem in low-elo games that most players don't realize that 7 kills and 6 deaths is not a positive score. If we could highlight how much their mistakes are actually costing players in their games, many of them would learn to stop making these same mistakes much quicker, improving the experience for all involved. I realize that it may in some cases further fuel a toxic player's flaming, but that player will flame anyways so why not provide a simple tool for the rest of us to use to improve?

Not really a bad idea. You can't just look at your deaths and do the math, because shut down and first blood gold is worth more, and death sprees make you worth less. I'd put that stat in the Match History rather than the end-game stats though.

or better yet, let them immediately see it. you know the gold that pops up for a kill over your head?

just have it also pop up over the enemies head.

I would be for it except for the fact that people who do nothing all game would just use this as another way to convince themselves they're not at all to blame for losing the game.

See that's a good idea and all, but most people will use it to abuse ur ally at the post game screen.

Simple fact is, the players who would use this stat to flame others already do. They can see the amount of deaths on screen already; they just finished the match and are usually aware of a particular teammate's struggles or inability (or the ever-too-frequent trolling RIP) in lane and how they couldn't manage to safely farm, giving up kills and towers galore. This stat is vaguely presented already, most often with those red words spelling "Defeat" across your screen. I'm just suggesting a more in-depth tracking to be used as a tool meant for those seeking to improve. It could help them pinpoint their weak points, if to do with certain times such as the later part of the early game as it transitions toward mid-game, or pre-level 3 in lane.

This is a dumb idea. It will encourage flaming and tilt. No one including you wants to see how bad of a game they have had. I think most know that 7/6 isnt really doing well. No need too pour more salt on the wound.

Why not at least on death say how much gold you were worth

"my score is 13/20, I have most kills so I carried, stfu scrub" -bronze players

I think anything that helps player understand how much deaths hurt their team is a good thing.

Final bump. Thanks for support, though I doubt this post would lead to anything. Cheers

I also want this stat. Another things to look at after a losing game.

Excellent idea!

Seeing the actual gold given to the enemy team instead of just a death counter would be far more interesting, that way we can actually see the impact of it instead of just having to guess. Rito Please!!!
