Another take on elise

Right now it's unquestionable that elise is in a pretty bad spot. As I'm writing this elise has the lowest winrate with 2,3 percent popularity. Of course it's a bad idea to jump to conclusions to shortly after a patch (i'll just throw the name cassio in here), but people pretty much agree that elise needs to be talked about. The main argument thrown at Riot is People saying that elise was overnerfed. However, we won't get anywhere with this kind of discussion, since her pre-nerfed state was problematic as well. Even if you guys are right, we won't get anywhere by acknowledging it.Instead of looking at the list of nerfs she got, let's take a look at her kit and try to figure out what's her core problem. The first thing that caught my interest about her kit is that it seems to be designed to fit her theme, but doesn't have a noticable focus for her gameplay. She has percentual damage, an aoe spell, a bit of hard cc, untargetability, mobility, summons minions, an as steroid, etc.. However, none of these actually define her kit. All of her abilitys are strong by themselfes (q:adaptable percentual damage . w: a smartbomb or a really strong Steroid. e:a stun on a compareably low cd or untargetable mobility compareable to fizz' trollpole) making her a jungler with unparaleled flexibility when she's strong. This is why she got nerfed in the first place. However, now that no ability she has is strong enough to allow her to Impact the game relying on it mainly, elise has become too weak, since there's close to no synergy between her abilities. Looking at it that waý i would say that elise's kit right now is difficult to balance, borderline unbalanceable by number changes alone. Unlike Nidalee, who's kit is defined by changing between poke/kiting (human) and engage/burst (cougar) at the right moment, elise's Spider form has only one damaging ability (+spiderlings and aa bonus, but these don't really make a difference, especially in teamfights), so weakening the enemy in human form and then changing to finish them off either works on her too good, or it doesn't work a all. Especially her early game is too strong if her q is strong enough to enable this fighting style. (in before people complain about nidalee here, i just took her as an example for a champ that's balanced enough to not be a current point of discusion and that has a semi-healthy power curve.) So, if we want to change elise into a healthy, viable champ, what does she need? There are many possible answers to that. Personally, I'd move her spiderlings from her passive to her ult and give her a new passive that gave her some kind of mechanic fro damage without relying on her first maxed ability. For example: hitting a target with a human from ability gives them a stack of her passive. I'll just call this example-passive "arachnophobia". aas by spider-elise or her spiderlings trigger "arachnophobia" doing dmg (ap scaling) per stack without consuming the stacks. This would reward her for tranforming after landing her skillshot and give her on-hit based skirmishing power. Just an idea to go in the direction riot went in with their last changes. But that's just my idea. If you put up with reading all this mess, pls comment giving your opinons and ideas.
