On a more serious note, is there really any band-aid fix (at the very least to the problematic dependence between skarner and his crystals, or will we have him like this for like the next 3 years or so?

Predatorator2 votesthe spires give him like 43%-160% attack speed and 70-120 ms based on level, on top of 2% max mana regen. it gives only 15 gold and 1.5 seconds of vision whan captured. These are all in fixed locations in the jungle, and skarner's kit has been balanced around these fixed areas.
