Why the fuck is Soraka allowed to exist in her current state?

She was changed because she made botlane boring and non-interactive

AND NOW SHE'S WORSE THAN SHE'S EVER BEEN

Playing against Soraka feels like an exercise in futility, you can't trade with the enemy adc, your only way to win is to all-in Soraka but if she has any skill at all she will be standing far enough back to make this impossible. The enemy ADC just gets to harass you all the time for free until you die or are pushed out of lane. Oh and remember that summoner spell that was useful against her? Ignite, that applied grievous wounds?

Yeah, that doesn't do anything anymore. You can't stop her healing. It's actually really obnoxious right now, i hope this gets adressed somehow because right now she's permaban, and ruins every single blind/tb game she's in just by being there and making botlane lopsided short of jungler/mid camp (which doesn't seem to happen as much this patch)

Can we please nuke Soraka from orbit so that I can actually have fun playing this game?

As a main Soraka i need to tell you this..

The only way to destroy a GOOD Soraka botlane is a gangbang at lvl 5 of bot lane -so she has no ult- from top (already 6 lvl) with tp, jungler (if he does good he ll be 6 before bottlane) and enemy adc-support. If mid comes too better for you. If the bot lane are main champs -main soraka main adc- it is just impossible for you to kill them. And not now that's pre season. Always. In my games i always get a gangbang bpt lane min 9/10 and i hardly ever save the adc. One of us will die.

Ofc that gives top and midlane the advantage of pushing while your team is destroying us bot, but that's another story.

P.S. I highly recomend a Nami vs Soraka. Burst-CC and heal without losing your HP. if u know how to use them u can put her in a corner.

I've played Nami against Soraka and it's a pain unless the Soraka is bad enough to position in such a way that you can bubble her and burst her with your ADC. Soraka's lane will win the poke-sustain war with ease. Nami will go OOM trying to keep up with her.

no. you use W lvl 1 the way to bounch on both soraka and her adc. izi lvl 1 kill soraka with a pro nami, even if she has good position. most of soraka start with W, so she cant heal back from a burst. you start w and trade hp with her and your adc focus her. dk. i ve won plat2 soraka main and i was gold2 Nami. izi.

BTW actually you should, cause since the feedback is nothing for Riot and they actually wont change things just cause we dont like them, the only thing community can provide is tips. :)

CC and focus. Knock her out fast. If she just stays back, it'll be hard for her ADC to push so just farm and wait for a chance. Eventually she'll run low on health and mana and have to back for more biscuits. If she's low on health and going in for a bombing run to heal herself, that's the best time to get her. Run forward and she might throw over you, then CC her with whatever you have and take her out before the enemy ADC can do much about it.

If both of you have a good chance of CCing and 100-0ing the enemy ADC in a few seconds she can't do much to stop you the way Leona, Braum, Tahm, Thresh etc. would be able to, either. She has her silence, but if you've already used your abilities before she casts her E and can kill the ADC before the root takes effect, you're good.

If you can cut her own self-heals, she won't be able to W forever.

So yeah, EC isn't as useful when applied so, but it's something. When Soraka's heals cost her own health, gimping her self-heal can cripple her more than you think! Sometimes it's okay to focus the support a little!

I know. I played soraka, and played against her fair ammount of times, so I know how it works. But thing is, she can cast 9 heals before going out of HP, without Q if she doesn't take battle DMG. That's 2500+ Heal. then she can ult to give allies more HP, and more HP for herself to heal even more. That's over 10 seconds of free healing alltogether. I think most teamfights would be over by that time. If you focus her, she is dead, but she's still just a support, and you wasted precious CDs and even exposed your assasins to risk in order to kill a support. Imagine if they had sona or janna instead of soraka. Would you focus them? Of course not. On the other hand, picking soraka massivly reduces her teams CC, so I guess hard engages are still a good option.

It cuts her own healing, which prevents too much W spamming since it costs her own health.

Granted, even for that it's kind of pointless to rush it during laning. The only time you'd build it for a situation like that would be against someone like Mundo on the enemy team, and countering Soraka's self-heal Q would be a by-product her ult would be unaffected by.

So not nothing, just very, very, very little.

I think based Meddler said that they might nerf Soraka if she happens to be too strong this pre season (which she is). But he also said that they might remove the grievous wounds removal, so that nerf wouldnt actually do anything lel.

Blitz, Leona, and Thresh can help in an all in against her and her marksman. Also, poke works some, as she has to use 10% of her HP to heal. So if you can avoid her Q enough she can run out of HP to cast and an all in is possible.

The only kind of peel she has is her E, so if they get caught out by your jungler that would be effective, as long as you don't stand in it.

Lets say i am Soraka Well ,no. Blitz early game is 0 against me. A good Soraka will silence him soon enough so he wont even try to Q. Leona, when she E adc soraka E underneth and insta Q -not dodgable- so Leona cant use Q spell- stun and she lose hp and she is snared as Soraka W-W-W spam on her adc and her adc fcks Leona's adc . So no. Thresh.. same story.. only that he has more chanse cause of higher mobility, and a rly strong engage and disengage skill. About the Hp losing to heal my adc.. the cookies are so strong now that with 3 at early game as Soraka i can heal as hell, i eat a cookie -miammmm- and all ok. [slayer-jinx-wink]

You forget that my Q slows, not only steals HP to heal me, so when your jungler is bot lane I insta Q both adc and supp -not dodgable cause the chase and i know their steps (when they are chasing me the run behind me xD ), exchaust on your jungler -lets say a lee sin-, and if i have summoners -which probably i will cause you cant make us lose them when i play soraka at 2 vs 2- ..no damage at all. The bigest achievment of you would be me and adc to lose our summs. Good, but not good enough cause we ll make you lose time, and maybe a summ or two.

One way only. Gangbang me lvl 5.

And that's how she wins.

The moment you forget her W costs 10% of her health and that her Q is a slow-moving skillshot at max range (if you're up close, you should be all-inning her squishy ass), you lose the match-up.

She's like a reverse Blitzcrank. The moment you lose any faith in winning, you lose.
