ward discovery "exploit"

ive discovered a small what some may call an exploit as to discovering what brush is warded and what isn't..... if youre a ranged champion and stand in brush you usually don't attk at all without inputting commands but if there is a ward in there you auto attack (unless its turned off) constantly without doing anything.... I haven't had a chance to test it in 6.2 but riot is this supposed to be happening? or is it just a minor exploit? can someone from riot please confirm this?

It's always been like this... it was done by design.

Huuuum, either I don't understand what you said, or it is a major exploit. Knowing there is a ward in the bush where I'm waiting for the enemy carry to assassinate him is not a minor advantage, it's a game-changing info.

Pretty sure it's intentional.

Similarly, opposing minions will aggro you in the bush if it's warded and there's no friendly minions around, and likewise if you aggro minions and run into the bush without them losing aggro, then the bush is warded (or they have vision via other means [stealthed teemo perhaps?]).

Paying attention to this sort of thing is one of the somewhat more subtle aspects of vision that can help sort out good players from great players.

(You can also sometimes infer that a bush is not warded if you see enemies fire off blind skill shots into a bush when there's no one there, which can save you a sweep.)

When you say that these ranged champions auto attack in the brush, do you mean that they attack nearby minons and champions or they just shoot in the air in search of the ward?

If you are standing in a warded bush and a minion wave / champ goes by, you are "visible " to them,Its like you are not in a bush. So the game will AA the target, not sure if this is intended but its been that way as long as I have played. Yes you can tell a bush is warded this way.. but you cant destroy the ward so I don't see how its an exploit.

I do this all the time as a support champion to okay my jungler coming in for a lane gank or not.

If the enemy has vision of you, and you have the option on to autoattack anything within range, you'll attack whatever's closest.

Lot of exploits in this game and a lot of people are getting banned, not sure about this one but who knows either way report it riot can tell who is doing anything illegal or not!.. Even if they think that riot does not know. It's a shame people need to cheat anyway just means they suck any other way!

I've known about htis for a long time. It's actually an issue of pretty much the following logic:

"Is Automatic attacking turned on? Yes> Are you stealthed/invisible? NO> Attack nearest target YES> Don't attack nearest target.
