Why is League Trash? If I don't carry Gold players, as Silver, I get Demoted

Hey guys, here to complain about trash matchmaking again and forced losing streaks. My most recent match I was demoted from Silver 2 back to Silver 3 because my Gold IV Zed decided to troll & int. I dominated my lane of course, took two towers, took herald-- did all I could to win. But Bot lane Caitlyn is 11-0, and Talon is dominating, and Blitz is fed, sooo... I lose & get demoted, because I couldn't carry players ranked above me.

Don't even get me started on League's forced losing streaks, btw. Came off an 8 game win streak that was only broken because my comp crashed, and ever since all I've gotten is teams that can't be carried. Xayah's that feed 18 times to represent half our teams loses, the aforementioned Zed that inted and gave a free lane, etc.

All my hard work to get better? Irrelevant. Easily outweighed by trolls and feeders. Literally no incentive at all to even try at this game.

Are your wins on Leona forced? Maybe at 40% w/r in 50 games it's time to give up the Illaoi bud. Half the time you have no idea what you're building

Then I look at your Leona games and they're like... imagine a racing game, your Illaoi is like you go way too fast into corners and go off the track, lose a ton of time

Your Leona dude. Hitting that Silver 2 apex at top speed

I say drop the Illaoi, or try to re-learn her at least. Or if you're serious about learning top lane, pick up at least 2 other top lane picks so that you can counter pick to make your climb easier

I could give you various reasons, but all are conjecture. Long story short, Riot isn't doing a good job of prioritizing when they hire. The things they focus on the most are irrelevant to one's talent as a game designer, and this often leads to unfortunate marriages of company and employee that are bad for the game. That's what most of my theories boil down to.

I feel you. Maybe I'm just bad, but I like to think for the most part I'm a pretty good player. I win my lane, I roam (it may not always lead to kills, but at least I put some pressure on the map) and I make pretty decent macro calls. Thing is, in bronze, it feels like my team mates just don't listen whatsoever. They don't listen when theyre told not to continue fighting their laner when theyre 0-3 and 30 cs down. They don't take baron or dragon when 3 people are dead and the last two are either in base or on the other side of the map. Most of all, they don't know how to teamfight for shit. I suppose I need to learn how to 1v9 carry, but god damn, the game shouldn't be about that. It truly fucking SUCKS trying to climb in this elo

Drop Illaoi. Spam Leona and Urgot. Either you want to climb or you want to play whatever the fuck you want. Most of us don't have the luxury of doing both.
