Why dont teams double jungle?
why shouldnt laners also jungle their side of the jungle instead of having a jungler.

they won't do duo jungle in normal rift because it wasn't already tried before.
Because jungle camps on SR are specifically set up to only give gold and exp to the person who clears them. Its a waste to double jungle.
Then you will likely have all five of your teammates visible on the map, allowing the enemy real jungler to attack any lane uncontested. This was a notable weakness to the funnel strat we all hated.
It would also mean the farming for the would-be jungler and the laner he's with would take longer to farm and level since they would have to split everything in the lanes and the jungle up to ensure neither fall behind. It's simply more efficient for the fifth player to not get his farm from the lanes.
They're making a map for that called Magma chamber.
It's designed for 2 junglers, should be out soon(tm). [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
