Bronze is not an Elo Hell, get good.

Tbh, im tired of people complaining how they are in bronze because of their teammates, sure it may play a factor sometimes, but everytime? I doubt it. So ill assume we are talking duo or solo queue here, then in that case, u should have a better win chance than the opponent. Lets say you really are good, and you are not a bronze player and you claim to be gold, stuck because of teammates, that means 1/5 members of your team are good, while only 0/5 are good on your opponents team theoretically, meaning u should have a 20 percent win chance because theres atleast 1 good player on your team for sure, if you really are good, and there may be none on the opponent side. and if you duoing, then that chance raises to 40 percent, simple right? So for all bronze players, stop flaming your team, you all are down there for a reason, whether it be tilt, lack of skill, lack of teamwork, anything. Improve yourself first.

No it really is hell if you're playing any noncarry role. Tanks, supports, and utility midlaners relying on their teammates to be capable of carrying is litreally leaving your wins and losses to the whims of the matchmaker.

So if you like playing those roles, you are absolutely SOL and better learn to love playing as Tristana and Xayah.

This presumes "good player" is the same thing as "can carry your entire team out of bronze".

However, this is completely false. Examples:

You can be a good support player and not be able to carry out of bronze.

You can be a good top laner, and not be able to fight the duo-feed-botlane phenomenon.

Bronze and Silver can reliably crawl out of Bronze, but I can absolutely tell you: in the current run meta, it's going to take 3 times the amount of games/time than if a Gold was trying to progress to plat while already in gold.

Even if you're a hard carry, the game's current incarnation doesn't allow super carries in near enough bronze games to pull yourself out unless you're a 1 trick assassin or 1v5 adc like Tristana. If you play anything else, you can expect to be having 50 minute games every game, hyper feeders, and many of the situations won't actually offer an objective carry or a kill carry.

Something else to stress: Gold players may very well fail hard compared to Gold tier games while in Bronze. As you climb, your expectations of your teams and momentum behind your pacing changes. If you are used to Gold momentum but are playing in Bronze, it's very likely you are used to a game beginning the team momentum around 10 minutes. In Bronze, the Momentum is often set at FOUR minutes - 6 Minutes. If you fully expect to be able to farm for 10 minutes and have a responsive team, and the team collapses by 4 minutes, sometimes you don't have the option to keep on farming, and have to attempt to save a flood of lane tidal waves by abandoning it. Without the farm though, you begin to get pulled down behind the team. And if you attempt to go back to farming, your farm is usually destroyed anyways because the mid pushes have begun at ~ 8 minutes and there just is so much pressure that you can't farm without risking dying.

I know that when I play with Plat/Gold players, I know that skirmishes are fast and reactive, but farm lanes are peaceful and relatively aware.

When in Silver, I generally know that skirmishes become full game skirmishes where the team completely forgets about farming or defending and just chases kills. I know that farm is anything but peaceful, because lanes are never aware, push out, don't know freezing, and feed so fast that often your lane (the only intact one) becomes a 1v4 quickly because the feeders won't even come try to defend it with you, but rather start raging and trolling, and feeding the already fed champs they created.

You might spend ~100 games from Gold V to Plat V. You're going to realistically spend ~300 games from Bronze III to Silver III. And time is finite; you only have one year, you have jobs, and possibly families. If you have to use that many games to climb, it might as well be elo hell.

False.

Some people are better at the macro and actual objective play/teamplay decision making, but have trouble with the whole "solo carry" mentality. I play a lot of team-oriented and team-reliant champions rather than your Yi and Tryndamere types that tend to dominate low elo matches, and I know I suffer for it. You can have a great understanding of the game and yet dig yourself into a hole with unviable champion pools.

Yep, im a creep, i accept my fate. But you are literraly Bronze 4.

Last games you were

1/8 and 2/14

But yep, you are right... bronze isn`t elo hell at all..

i will say that i have been in bronze and silver myself... and when you get feeding teammates it is rather hard to maintain a good kda when your doing what actaully needs to be done. (aka trying to salvage the game)

if you behind.. you really cant wait for "safe plays" there wont be any. you have to take the opportunity you can get (no matter how disadvantaged to may be) and hope to god they mess up.. because if it doesn't work you lost anyways. and no one in bronze can farm so safely farming up is out of the question.

there is something to be said about bronze and silver being elo hell, not that you cant climb out of it... sure you can.. especially bronze.

bronze is farily easy to climb out of becuase even if the enemy team is fed.. you CAN just frankly outplay them with less gold and still easily come out on top.

silver ius much more of an elo hell because most people know what thier doing.. and it becomes RNG whoever gets the fresh lvl thirty on thier team... becuase the enemy is a lot less likely to throw the 10 free kills that new player gave them. and oit makes it a lot harder to climb. that being said. they appears on one team, both teams. or neither team. So its a crap shoot. pretty much whoever gets the fresh lvl thirty loses the game. its pretty bullshit which is why i call silver "elo hell" not becuase it easy to climb... but becuase in bronze you may get feeding teammates.. but the other side has them too.. where in silver the other team may not have also gotten a trash player on thier team.

and then there is the whole if your adc sucks you're SOL, hope you get a better one next game..
