Zed, since he's a popular topic nowadays. No
Why not have Zed's ult be a skill shot similar in targeting and timing as a Nami bubble.
"Whoa whoa there great partyleader! No way!" Teemo420n0scop3
Now wait one second and listen. Now I agree with riot that if I land my ult you shouldn't be able to qss it. That's just lame. But I also believe in counter play and things that feel "good" to do, such as landing and dodging skills.
So here would be a brief description. Animation stays the same (shadows converging on a point). You just target the ground instead of a champion. If you hit a champion all is well, same as live. If you miss, it works as if you just casted your living shadow there then after the 4 seconds waiting for the second activation(the blink) ult goes on a lessened cooldown maybe half or even quarter.
This raises the skill flow for Zed, and even potentially gives him more outplay ability by adding mobility to his ult that doesn't require targeting a champion. Makes him more comparable to other assassins since he's the only one you have to preemptively flash from add a squishy instead of flashing to dodge. Lessens the frustration of squishies that die from a point and click Increases the satisfaction of a successful ult from a zed player.
Just a thought.
