If runescape got old school runescape, why can't the league community vote for runes to be reverted

Just some food for thought... maybe an attempt to stir up some conversation around this topic

People like to think old things were better

But they immediately forget all the problems that existed with the old things

That's why OSRS is nothing like it was at launch, many changes were made

Does no one remember League of Thunderlords?

9/10 people in each game running TL

We got OSRS because unlike League of Legends, RS3's playerbase dropped substantially and quickly with each update. The original version of RS2 had a daily player count of well over 80-100k, current day RS3 barely gets a consistent 25k last time I checked. The game legitimately died due to the amount and nature of the changes they made.

League of Legends is still going strong after all these updates and even if the playerbase was on the decline it's clearly not substantial enough to be problematic or warrant a legacy server.

This is stirred up on a pretty consistent basis, and the general consensus is no.

Because one’s an MMO, the other is an RTS.
