Should Riot Remove Adaptive Helm?
Adaptive helm should NOT be in the game it counters 20% of ALL spell damage. 20%? That ruins games trust me there already is something very similar(Phantom Dancer) that does 12% so why did riot want to put in a 20% one WITH MAGIC RESIST? What was riot thinking? I am so tilted because I lost 2 games to easy people, but they built adaptive helm to counter my pick(singed). Without adaptive helm I would've won lane, and won the game. Adaptive helm is one of those items that counters certain champs and ruins the game for them. If riot doesn't remove it I would think that an item that is the same, but for basic attacks (reducing the damage by 20%), is appropriate(on

Here are a list of most if not all things that it counters: Anivia, Azir, Brand burns, Cassio, corki, Evelyn, Fiddlesticks drains, Heimerdinger, jax, Katarina, Kayle, Lissandra, Malzahar, Mordekaiser, Morgana pool on-hit, Kog'maw, Orianna, Rumble, Ryze, singed poison, Sona, swain, Taliyah Volleys, teemo, Ziggs, Zyra.
It sickens me that riot would put in a single item to counter most of the spell reliant champs, and not put in other items to counter other champs like "Critical dodge" for countering yasuo(ability to dodge all critical attacks after 3 seconds of being hit by a critical attack), or true damage reduction. Riot also shies away from basic attack reduction because of how many champs use basic attacks, but so little champions can be "countered" by adaptive helm.
If you think about it though the 20% reduction on basic attacks with 55 armor and health regen should happen if adaptive helm stays. Spells are so important and as a singed player I try to focus on my q damage, but because of adaptive helm every 100 damage turns into 80(regardless of magic pen, and not including the 55 magic resist)and it turns out to be hard if not impossible to lane vs the champ that builds it.
