Not everyone liked playing against the old singed before this "buff", but making him almost unplayable isn't like you riot! Here is my comment on the whole topic: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/riot-official/s4Hi7Ecy-patch-714-notes?show=flat&comment=00a5

People have begged in the past to "nerf this nerf that". I don't want much of a change just singed's old passive(maybe with 5% movement speed passive), and his old q base dmg back(with maybe less ap scaling). I just want my main to be my main again. At least give players the option between new singed and old singed in champ select for a trial to see who is played more. I guarantee that old singed will be played more. Ask singed mains like myself BEFORE making drastic changes.

I know I asked for a minor buff here or there, but changing him this much just ruins the champion. I will be editing together the best times I've had as singed beating pantheon's, kennen's, cho'gath's, sealing baron with poison trail and getting a few kills also while escaping alive. For those who are saying "boo hoo your champion was garbage anyways, only trolls play singed", what if this happened with the champ that you mained? Would you complain like I am to riot? Also playing as singed takes skill like every other champion, but this new patch makes him almost unplayable.

I have nothing much left to say but to please upvote this to bring attention to the "buff" given to singed. Also vote in the poll!

They wanted Singed to not be that tanky annoying af champion that can still kill you while building no AP and proxy farming all day without losing anything for it because he's tanky. Now he actually needs to build AP which is a good change imo and (hopefully) can't clear full waves without taking damage when 6 minions and a cannon are shooting at him.

He got a major buff idk why people asking fo the old one back everything in his kit is better they made up for the old passive by buffing ur base stats and growth

I went 10/5 with him last night don't remember my assists but they were high too. Also no ADC is gonna build adaptive helm and I'm pretty sure it's 10% reduction so it'll be 10% against tanks (you'd likely build liandrys and void staff anyways though) and 12% vs an adc assuming he attacked you and didn't attack anyone else. Fun side note Singed's poison trail damages Kayn while he's inside you if he ults you.

I feel like this is a pointless discussion given the massive runes and mastery changes coming. Personally I get the feeling singed is gonna be massively OP once they release. With magic resist being difficult to come by, it will be tough to itemize against him early and still do any damage. Phase rush is gonna be very busted on him as well. Simple E + Sky auto will proc it, and give a HUGE movespeed bonus stacking with his passive. If the enemy Top and JG dont have enough hard cc, or if they even make a singe mistake in engaging him while hes proxying, hes gonna be gone too fast to respond to. Eventually they will give up trying to stop your proxy, since they will lose time and cs. This is gonna give him freedom to do 4 things. Gank mid/steal jg farm/double proxy/free recall.

I've been running MS quints with barrier/ign lately on live, and the amount of pressure it provides is huge. Now normally you'd take ign to pressure kills top right? Nah. I run it to pressure their jg during proxy. Very few jgs will be healthy enough to stop a barrier/ign singed. Some you can even invade after 2nd wave and kill easily. Once Phase rush hits live, and you are getting AP for MS, I think you are really gonna see this new passive and his AP scaling doing good work.

As for the passive. I do miss his old passive, but I think the MS is better. I do think it takes time to get used to playing around it though. Typically the only thing you ever needed up to engage or trade was his E. Now with his grounding and his passive, you do need to consider their availability before hand.

Take Darius for example. He used to dump on Singed. Old Singed couldn't trade with him, if you open with a fling, he simply pulls you back in and unleashes combo. If you don't fling when in his range, he slows you and combos you anyways. The only safe way to get near him and trade was to open with a goo flip and run away. But now? As long as your new passive is up, you can safely lock your fling on darius as you approach and you will ALWAYS escape since the passive gives you just enough MS to escape his pull range before he recovers from the fling cc. This makes early farming a breeze, whereas old singed would have to proxy or get stuck under his tower because he cant get near wave.

I think more than anything, items are what screw Singed. Adaptive helm alone means you are gonna be doing no dmg to that champ the rest of that game. On the plus side, if they are itemizing to counter you, then your team shouldn't be struggling.
