Teemo offers a blind and low cool down shrooms for slows. Brand offers a stun. Wukong doesn’t have anything except his r Knock up but that still isn’t going to merit as supportive.

Not to mention both those example have good poke damage.

Teemo offers a blind

Such a strong cc. sarcasm

{quoted} low cool down shrooms for slows

That can be easily countered by item 3364 item 2055

{quoted} Brand offers a stun

That isn't realiable since it's a skillshot that also needs another setup

And if they use their Oracle's, they can't clear out the wards with it, and they have to spend time clearing it. Also, a good Teemo will be able to use them well, so that they don't get much of a chance to clear it.

Also, a lot of things are skillshots. And it doesn't require a skillshot or add any real delay, you just have to hit E first.

It is if the enemy is trying to last hit or damage you with autos. Especially against a Draven

Typically someone who wants to get in your face like Leona or Taric are the best counters in my books

Brand ,Lux and Malzahar aren't either and yet you see them on bot.

Brand has a stun and poke. Malz has poke, a silence, suppression (although I have rarely seen Malz support because it's not that strong). Lux has a snare, a shield, and a slow. All 3 can build relatively cheaply and be effective.

A cheap Wukong build sucks. His R won't win you team fights if he can't either do a lot of damage or survive using it. It cannot be used to disengage and given a support build cannot be used to engage. Honestly, any of those 4 pulling a support Wukong to them will result in Wukong being immediately killed. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that lol

And I don't know that part of "against hook supports". I'm not asking if Wukong is good as support in general, I'm asking in specific scenarios.

You are better off trying to get a Shaco clone hooked.

How so?

Shaco offers crowd control. He can go invisible and have his clone move so you can bait the hook. You can Q into a bush and let his clone walk out of it. He offers a slow. He offers a fear. He offers vision. (Boxes) Wukong has nothing supportive enough even with a Glacial Augment attached. You are basically trying to force Shyvana into the tank supportive role when her W doesn't scale with AP anymore.

I think it would be too situational. Like someone who would benefit from the knock up. But wu can’t do much unless he’s bringing in the gold. He doesn’t have the kit to build cheap tank items and be a cc bot.

Seems you're pretty hostile to the answers you're getting so i'm not sure it was an honest question. Try something like sion or shen against hook supports? Wukong is not a good pick against them (Also, a good hook support will bait wukongs w before hooking and instagibbing him)

When everyone is telling me "LOL RETARD WUKONG IS NOT SUPP" of course I might get a little angry.

I mean, i don't see them as supports either. So........

DuskDaUmbreon3 votes

Not really. Morgana would do that, but from a longer range, and with much more usefulness besides just blocking a hook. Wukong would need to be in front of the ADC, and offers way too little utility to be useful as a support.

Leona and Alistar also do that better, because then the Blitz/Pyke/Naut/Thresh is pulling them right to where they want to be.

Most of those other champs you mention can be really strong and effective without huge gold. Wukong really needs CS to be functional. Wukong is slippery which may help avoid some damage, but he is still too squishy and will likely take too much damage to be useful in any followup fight. You would be picking a champ to counter 1 skill. You need to pick a champ that can counter their whole kit. That where a Leona or something that is scary as hell to pull right on top of your adc is a good because she can stun you all day long and make the grab actually dangerous. Either that or pick something with ranged poke so that their grabs cant get near you.

Any melee champion that doesn't bring any cc or peeling at lower level is absolutely useless as a support
