probably a simple way to balance champs

May sound stupid, May not sound stupid, but if riot wants an easy way to balance champions would it not be a good idea to sort of find what abilities/stats a champion had when the whole K:D ratio for that champ was an altogether 1:1? Because any champion that has had a time period of 1 death per 1 kill that would mean people who were bad with them were doing bad and people who were good did good, that would essentially mean that champion specifically was balanced. For example some time into mordekaiser bordering new/old there was a moment in time where his K:D ratio was PERFECTLY PERFECT at 1:1 but morde was nerfed because too many people complained about how he was doing well. It actually annoyed me when that happened cause morde was a good champ and all rounded and was balanced, now he is a squishy bean that requires a lot of feed to do well with. To be honest at some point it makes me think people dont actually want balanced champions, they just want some champions they use to be op while others slightly reduced so thiers have the edge.

So why don't riot try to find a point in time where each champion was 1 for 1 and try making the champs like that again? and also stop trying to make AD champs AP, ive noticed that happen slowly over time, heck it even happened to yi for a while but still, if you make a champion for a certain group dont slowly change them cause most people that used to use that champ would not use them because of the changes.

No, using just kills and deaths is pretty awful.

You need to use Assists to get an at-all reliable look at champion performance, else you run into issues where a mega-assist monster like Janna or Sona (usually both are around a 53~55% win rate) become some ridiculously powerful champion - where a low win-rate (~45%) champion that's literally only good for getting a decent K/D ratio (LeBlanc) will get hit particularly hard.

Also - the win-condition for LoL isn't lots of kills and few deaths. It's destroying the opponent's Nexus. Good K/D/A ratios generally help towards that end, but they're far from the only thing involved in a Nexus exploding. It's still entirely possible to win when the enemy team has 50% more kills, and with certain champions (Singed, Tryndamere), it's quite possible to force a lot of wins with pretty unimpressive K/D/A ratios.
