A plea to all yasuo/zed only players out there

This is a cry for help. I'm talking about what seems like 50% of mid laners I run into between gold 5 and plat 5. I'm talking the ones who only play yasuo and zed mid. It's time to stop. Please, i'm on my knees begging you, LEARN AN AP CHAMP SO WE DON'T GET A FULL AD COMP.

"but what about other lanes, they can pick AP champs?" You're right, they can! However, top lane's meta is bruisers and tanks, and jungle's meta is tanks, assassins(who can't pump out the damage of someone like any mage can consistently), ADC's meta is AD champions, and supports can pick AP champions, but a lot of them need to pick disengage or engage because everyone else just wants to pick the flashy outplay champions who generally require setup in teamfights. So what does this mean? Generally, unless your jungler/top/ad/support one tricks an ap champion, picking them will put your team at a severe disadvantage compared to the alternatives.

"But it's not a big deal, just get armor pen" Great idea, doesn't really work all that well. Armor pen only goes so far, and if the games go longer than 30 minutes, even champions who are sorta squishy like fighters can get as tanky as a maokai would be in a normal game due to only having to focus on picking up armor and no MR.

Please, just learn an AP champion for times when we need it. It gets really annoying having to bend over backwards in champion select to accommodate for a person who could very easily pick an AP champion. You don't even have to spend that long learning, you can play something simple like an annie.
