Just keep reporting it, eventually Riot will catch on that we don't like unsportsmanlike children playing the game with us.

"How cute" used as an insult is just as bad as Ez.

And that isn't saying much.

Honestly, people need a spine. Otherwise we get more censorship than we want. Then you get Blizzard forums that somehow turned into a SJW + Whiteknight hybrid forum. Leaves little room for change.

I can't even fathom being this hurt by words, let alone a single, two-letter abbreviation. Seeing "ez" just makes me laugh. I'd suggest adopting this attitude for life, as well. You'll spend less time triggered by meaningless bullshit, and more time on yourself.

GG EZ, if that upsets you on the internet you got bigger problems. Sure its unsportsman like but punishable? For real? Ive been playing xbox live since halo 2, you guys got to get some thicker skin and move on. The real reason you want someone punished is simply cause they won against you. Try again.

I report my teammates too :p it's unsportsmanlike, exactly why it's punished.

But its not punished, spreading fake news wont help your cause.

A friend got chat restricted for it. His chat logs were all things like "ez" "easy" "ez tutorial" "was this coop vs ai?" And the like. Of course it took much time to get there but eventually he got punished

I'm sure there's way more to that story. And ya if you are spammimg ez gg EZ and stuff every single game for hundreds of games then thats a little more than just saying it once.

But if someone says ggez to you ONE time at the end of a game that doesnt mean they automatically need to be punished 100%

Very often people used to say it just write it at the end. Like I automatically open the chat to write gg at the end they do it for their ez. If one guy did it once to annoy the enemy team for some reason he won't get punished of course so no problem

Back when we had the tribunal it was one of the most punished phrases. I am assuming when they took down the tribunal they took that into consideration. If you want to be safe you wouldn't use it. If you want to talk a walk on the wild side then go ahead and keep using it.

Sometimes I do it when the enemy actually deserves it, and I feel like a revenge. Like the enemy Yasuo bragging about being 10/0 because he faced something easy to counter and spamming "ez" "?" or his mastery 7 (like really I've never ever seen a Yasuo that doesn't have a mastery 7 aside of ARURF / ARAM), I like to say "ez" because he might be good mechanically, but that doesn't give him the right to brag, and I'm allowed to say "ez" (in my opinion, and directly targetted at him)

You are not allowed to say "ez" in any situation. That is against the rules

Wínters Dawn3 votes

Show me the rule. Riot says competitive banter is okay. Just because you take it personally doesnt change the category it falls in

This.

Everyone butthurt about the ez probably blamed their team for the loss too.

Wínters Dawn1 votes

I can see that

"Thanks for losing this game for me you $%!:$/$/!"

*enemy "gg EZ"

"Omg that's such toxic unsportsmanship!!!. Rito ban plz"

I see this as much worse honestly.

The only people getting punished by dropping the EZ are the losers.

Dont get butthurt. Take the loss and move on. Better yet /mute enemy

I often report that (if it's serious) but usually much more obvious cussing people down, violent phrases, inting, scripting- -and I've seen 2 'thanks for your reports' in the last year.

'Ez' is a really low key insult, one of many, but they're still ruining the game atmosphere for other people so it's in Riot's best interest for these players to can it with their BM-spam.

Can you signal during the game that you are a special snowflake so we will be able to report you? We already have option for negative attitude to which most of such people belong but reporting people for that kinda never does anything as well...
