Have the announcer say "Your turn to pick/ban" when it's your turn to pick/ban

Similar to what they do in DotA 2.

As of right now, the ONLY audio prompt we get is at the ten second mark where we get a little "beep" and that's it.

If that isn't feasible, just have it work like the old champ select, where your client automatically focuses in and makes a noise that is louder than what it currently makes at ten seconds.

I agree. Just like how during the wait to even get INTO the lobby is a shadow of it's former self in the sound's volume when a match has been found (current AFK check is barely audible even when I have my speakers cranked at max volume), there are too many wasted opportunities for games to go on because of the inattentive.

as someone who switched over from dota 2 to lol after playing dota 2 since 9/19/2012 the announcers are one of the few things i think could be drastically improved in league. The league announcer in all areas of the game is garbage.

I don't think you understand how voice acting works. Well, I think you do but just to call someone back to say a single line would be...annoying to think about.

Now I can see them doing this if Lissandra's VA was doing some work with a new legendary or ultimate skin but just a single line would be like your mom calling just to say she loves you.

+1 too many times have i been tabbed to a different screen and then the 10 second countdown timer starts when i didnt know its my turn to ban and i only have 5 seconds to hurry and pick a ban

Yes please. This season I decided to try ranked (have been playing since season 1). So far I have 2 victories, but I also have 2 accidental dodges. I feel discouraged.

If you have to lock in your champion to avoid getting kicked, then riot should help your realise that's its your turn as soon as possible.

That line sounds unnatural to me for the current announcer to say.

And it's only 1 line, I'd rather the client flashed or made a sound when it was ban/pick time instead.

Or maybe a simpler solution would be to, just make the client pop-up on your turn when minimized just like it used to be in the old champ select?

You can just pay attention to the game. I get that everyone has something to do and its annoying to have the window up for something so frivolous. But come on, sure dota has it and whatever. Its not that had to devote some focus to it, if you commit to something commit to it. This is asking for baby like treatment.

i watch videos while i'm in queue/champ select, since i get bored easily, but i check back to champ select every time it's a new person's turn to pick or ban, just to make sure it isn't my turn, then i go back to the video i'm watching. it really isn't that hard to do.... now, i would understand if you were complaining about it not coming up front when it's your turn when you have it muted or something... but you're complaining about the audio... just do what i do :/
