I don't like that it always autofills me as ADC instead of support - but luckily I can usually swap with someone.

Put a UFC fighter in place of his coach, and his coach in place of the fighter...
They arent going to perform well... If i main adc and someone else mains top, there is no reason for it to be vice versa or put me as support.
Id much rather wait 10 times for a good game instead of 2 minutes for a shit one where my yasuo support is a OTP top laner

no matter the system someone isnt gonna get the exact role they want... but that is why you need to know all roles and be able to play all roles... maybe its not your best but something you can play efficiently and therefore be a better all around player.
play and learn champs that are good in more then one role. that have some diversity to what roles they can be played in. that helps alot to
if your an adc main you should back up at support due to knowing the dynamics of the bot lane, match ups, etc.
but as far as it goes for me i just chose fill ... and play whatever role

ppl getting autofilled isn't the problem its that they wont grow some balls and speak up and just first time thresh and feed their ass off or do nothing all lanng phase look at my last couple ranked games

people need to learn more then 2 champs, and more then 1 role and be a better over all player and know how to at least play 1 champ in each role.

the champ i have the highest mastery score on and most games played is 
but i can play him top, jungle and support if need be. and i have played him mid before ( gave 
hell lol ) but i can adc, i main support, i can jungle ( jungle kinda like a support where i try to "support my team" by helping lanes wins and not trying to carry games and im decent top lane. i can and have gotten away with champs like
