Can't split masteries in new client

Edit: Okay, so shift/scroller works, glad to know. However, it should be more obvious. Some details definitely need refined, as I go over below.

I don't use it much, but the new client doesn't allow splitting masteries. One example of potential use would be on Merciless/Meditation in the Cunning tree. You can get 1-2 points in Meditation to get some acceleration of mana gain when the pool dwindles, but go to Merciless for the other points because the mana pool becomes stable enough, so Merciless would be the only benefit there, giving some potential damage when the enemy is low health, albeit lower than 5-point Merciless.

Not sure why this was taken away when the system is still clearly based on 30 Mastery Points. Would be nice if the new Client could do what the old one could do, even if effort was needed. We can't even do that. Heck, the only non-buggy section I've seen has been the Runepages, which ironically has been on the chopping block for ages. Would be nice if we'd get some necessities up to speed here, at the very least.

Though there are controls for this, the scroller does go up 5 instead of 1 when scrolling up from 0. It doesn't need to do this, it already does that on click, and it makes it that much harder to realize the scroller is the proper method of dropping down by singles. At very least, scrolling up should give +1, and scrolling down should give -1, regardless of where you're scrolling from. They don't have to put a legend up to tell controls, but it should at least be obvious when some controls are working differently than others.
