can darius go all tank

Early on it's not so bad but you will drop very hard very quickly

You probably would still want Black cleaver.

No.

Darius has no abilities that scale with his tankiness, and though he has good base damages, they are held back by cooldowns. Darius doesn't have the utility to justify going full tank, he would ultimately be pretty easy to ignore in a team fight.

With Darius you need at least one damage item. I sometimes have three.

Not really. His abilities have high bases and decent scalings, but his damage falls off hard if he doesn't build attack items.

He is the only fighter with zero sustain/defense steroids, so no matter how many tank items he builds he always dies faster than he should. Theoretically speaking, full tank Darius has the same defense as full tank Ashe.

Just build him Bruiser.

full tank darius isnt a big threat damage wise then again you only seeing what is built runes and masteies can be diffrent. but then if you leave a guy attacking you for long enough you will feel the damage. and you will feel it sooner if you are a squishy who builds 0 defense
