Request for people to play a champ in bots BEFORE PVP

So after about the 100th game of seeing somebody go "first time Lee Sin" or one of the many variations of it, I've decided to ask and see how much support would exist for the concept of people actually having to complete five or so games in co-op mode as any champion they have level 1 or less mastery with before that champion is acceptable for PVP (exception being ARAM since that was designed to basically be random)

Frankly, there's a lot of people with no common sense. Playing a high skillcap champion for the first time in a PVP leaves your team usually at a huge disadvantage, not to mention making the person regret the choice with the punishment for a bad score on their first time. Game after game people queue in and then admit it is their first time and then proceed to either feed horribly or end up having no clue how to use any of their abilities to the point it ends up a surrender or a quick loss. Several times people do alright or even great, but it isn't worth the larger amount of times that people end up feeding or just flat out performing poorly and then beat themselves up after it, not to mention the team that just lost!

So Riot overlords, can we have a requirement to play a minimum of five games in co-op mode before using PVP for any champion in the Rift? Pretty please with a Lulu on top?

Five games is a bit much. A lot of players can pick up and play a new champion decently well after only 1-2 games.

So far, it's gone well every single game, so nah I refuse to test in bots. I analyse a champ's kit before I play it either way.

So far being the keywords. Some champions simply cannot be played all that well on a first or second time basis, which is why I think it is only fair we not subject people to first time champions in the most competitive situations (PVP normal, ranked, etc) without the team having to worry how they will be able to perform. I see you are on the EUW server, perhaps it isn't as bad there as NA? Lol.

No clue, I just tend to get used to new champions quickly though. Enough champion knowledge I guess.

No thanks. I'm a gold support main, and trying a new support doesn't mean I'm going to feed in a pvp game.
