Kill Participation in Bronze does not correlate to winning?

Just eyeballing this Data, there doesn't seem to be any clear link between kill participation and win/loss. These games are all played as Annie, with 90% of them being played mid. Sample size is 17. Comments?

Edit: I redid the dump into .CSV

you need to redo that chart

This is a poor attempt at statistical analysis.

  1. Get your sample size up to 20

  2. Play the champion in the same role each time

  3. Now do it again for 4 other champions

  4. Now have 4 other players do the same thing

You'll now have data from 500 games, and you'll have a much better idea whether it's the quality of the player, the quality of the champion, an effect independent of those or no effect at all.

Also you need to redo that chart like wow.

At every level of play a huge lesson to remember is that Objectives will always be more important than kills. I have seen so many matches thrown by players being distracted by the possibility of one more kill. Always focus on the main objective: the opposing nexus. For every decision you need to ask yourself "how will doing this help me end the game?"

Often times stragglers in a fight, or players on their own will intentionally lead you away from objectives to buy time. KDA's mean nothing if you lose.

The team with the most objective and map control has the best chance on winning a match.

That chart is nearly unreadable. Please post this over what you posted, I think they're much better, but the way the forums work they won't let me have this as spaced out as I put them while typing it up. Also I hope I was right in that 0 = loss, 1 = win

Furthermore, kills in general are irrelevant to the grand scheme of the game. Last night I played a game as Talon, went 20/7/6, had about 56% kill participation, we outnumbered the enemy team in kills 47-40, not that big of a gap, had 2 dragons to their 1, ahead by 2 towers, then our tristana disconnects leaving it a 4v5, the whole team gets demoralized, tilts immediately, and repeatedly suicides into the entire enemy team over and over again despite my attempting to bring them together to group and shove it out to win the game, because at this point in the game we're pushing 60 second death timers, plenty of time to ace the enemy team, and pick up baron to win the game. That didn't happen, we lose 4 towers, two of which being our nexus towers and then our nexus.

To be honest, the game should have been over way before the trist disconnected, but my team couldn't comprehend that the reason I'm backing off the tower is to let them push it so I can instagib whoever comes to stop it, like my job as an assassin is. The things I was doing in that enemy team are illegal in most countries, but instead everyone went focused on killing people instead of pushing the tower. I personally should have adjusted to that reality and worked on towers myself, but I had faith in my team to actually do what I was telling them to do. It's the reason I prefer AD based mid laners and really champions in general, because I can push towers effectively when my team won't do it
