Why the hell does Caitlyn do 1.5k+ damage to me?

I bought Ninja Tabis.

I bought 2 tank items since I had no choice or she'd one shot me.

I finally bought the tank items with the Ninja Tabi's, I expected to be able to last at least 1 second longer until I was confused on how I got deleted in 1-2 shots.

Went to check back on what happened in the video and her headshot critted 1.5k dmg to me although I had 180+ armor.

Are you serious? She didn't even have armor penetration.. She even 1 shotted my fed mid laner/adc.

She basically solo carried the whole game.. Don't get me started on her traps they refuse to fix, that FORCED my team to stay back.

"You can walk around them" Bull shit. They are LITERALLY straight across your lane in a line. I know Draven is broken (Mainly because DD btw) but please DON'T forget about this abomination named "Caitlyn" this is unhealthy.. I don't care how many times it's been said. I find it bull shit a ADC can freeze a whole damn team and if you even try to engage and get trapped goodbye to your tank when 1k+ of his hp goes away in 1 shot.

So much for "tank"

On a side note I played Caitlyn before, way to damn strong, stop defending her.

Riot you had one job.. To nerf her traps like most of the people was wanting. But no.. lets nerf something that barely touched her so she can be top tier as always.

I play Darius and I achieve the same stats as you and 1.5K is exaggerating with Headshot its more like 800-1k. Still a ridiculous number, though. You are right in one aspect and that is Caitlyn is way too strong for how safe she is. For example why is she rewarded with more damage when she uses an ESCAPE ability (giving her a Headshot against the target that gets hit by her E). Why can she put traps in a line to where your team can't even properly fight? It's BS.

I've noticed most of my loses have been where a Caitlyn has been Single handedly carrying her team and I can do nothing about it as she deletes me from existence haha. OP not lying, although maybe not as much dmg as he said but she is defo around that damage. Hopefully a batch of nerfs hits her traps, that is why I hate her.

Base AD -1 Trap charge refreshes longer in early game but more traps late. Ability base damage down, AD ratio increased.

If we're going to exaggerate, other adcs can do more, some of them to an entire team at once rather than a single champion and they don't require traps to achieve said damage.

"Other adcs achieve more" You can't be serious haha. Whenever you vs Caitlyn all she has to do is lay some traps out and you literally are forced to not be able to do anything as the other people have said above.

I rather vs any other ADC besides Caitlyn. (Well I don't want to vs Draven to atm) he's just as painful once he gets Death's Dance.

and you're forced to not leave your base when Twitch is MIA, see even I can exaggerate. Caitlyn's damage isn't absurdly high, her advantage is mostly in range and traps, but even range isn't exclusive to her. Notice how any of these exaggerated claims never provide the match they're referring to and make these posts on unused accounts? because it doesn't happen. I almost only play tanks and never been killed quickly by a 0 armor pen Caityln, on the other hand, Kog, Vayne, etc can with Twitch being able to just press R and damage me and my team.

Caitlyn is literally only complained more often because of popularity, but even a weak champion would be complained about if it was picked frequently. Nerf her and an adc that is already better will just take her place popularity wise. Cait is also pretty useless without a team, if you're being 1v5ed by one that isn't because the Cait is a Cait.

Cait is normally on your team, not the opposing team, and you seem to lose even though she's apparently a free win. When she's on the opposing team you seem to win just fine against her as well, so it seems when she's on your team you lose, when she's on the other team they lose.

No, ADCs are currently experiencing technical advantages and kept getting sweet new items, old items brought back in new ways, all while most of them are now usually pulling raw damage and crit chance from the crit stat itself. Caitlyn in particular experiences both crit chance and boosted headshot damage from critical strike. Her traps enhance it too, so pretty quickly you can get things rolling damage-wise with her. I'm surprised Trinity Force Cait never made it top, I feel like the constant headshot-trinity-net damage vomit she could provide would give her a rolling start once she went at it.

Meanwhile, trading into those goddam traps as a melee.

I was playing Akali against Caitlyn and she 2 shot me as I tried to kill her.. lol.

She assassinated me better then I could assassinate her, feelsbad, I lost some confidence that game. She was the only one on her team doing good at all, yet she was carrying tf out of them, our team barely won in the end. She is truly terrifying. o.o

They'll have to give her traps a cast time eventually and that will already mean she jumps from oppressive to "only good/strong" to be honest. In the meantime I just prefer to ban her

considering how she can constantly shit out those traps, i dont understand why you cant just target them to remove them with 3 auto attacks.

they could at the very least do the azir thing and have the trap duration under enemy turrets reduced to a couple of seconds. really dont understand why this hasnt already happened. its not too much to ask.

ADC are too hard to play and die very quickly even with item 3812 item 3046 combo and have 0 mobility and 0 cc and less damage than mages and assassins, they need rewards for that hard play at least or else i will pick op braindead champ Garen bot and and carry even when he is boring but because fun to play and skillful ADC Caitlyn will be too weak and unviable to pick

GIT GUD before asking to nerf ADCs.

As fiddle support about 2/3 way through a game a while back I got crit for 2100 with tabs item 3047 item 3157 . Same thing with AD bruisers this season too. Tanky as crap while doing more damage than me and my ADC (non cat) combine with same levels.. CC them but then they use there dash or what not to 1/2 hit my adc and me.

AD is really something else this season.
