How do you feel about Azirs current balance?

So I just got azir because I remember him being a super fun champion from a ftp week a long time ago, he lives up to my expectations and is very fun but I feel like I is missing something. I know about the slow changes to him and the 5.14 changes. I just feel like his ranges/damages are a bit awkward, idk may just be me. I also looked and saw he has only a 44% win rate at basically any level of mastery of the champion (even the 125+ games played). Was just wondering if you all feel like he needs to be buffed/nerfed/left the hell alone? I'm not complaining that I feel like he is underpowered, I have done ok with him, he just feels a bit more awkward than before.

His kit enables him to be a lane bully hypercarry when strong, and Riot needs to make a non-number change to his kit. He's also a good example of a champion who forces balance around competitive play, because he was a god in LCS no matter what his soloQ winrate is (it was never high)

As enemy I'll fight em, when playing him.... I'd rather get fucked in the ass with a knife than figure out how to play him (recently did em for the first time, wasn't fun...)

He just has an almost unfathomable skull cap. There's times where I've got salty and rashly thought "grrrrr I should be able to use soldiers from a longer distance", but then I realised that would be too much, and the range is in fact perfect as is now. With anything as complex as Azir, unless your name is Fenix, Easyhoon, or Coco, chances are you'll inevitably think "farrrr this guy is a bit weak" at some point.

the problem is that he's only good/viable in D+, in the lower ELO he's so hard to master/play safely :/
