If Lee sin is blind already how can he get blinded by teemo it doesn't make sense

Teemo doesn't blind people by shooting them in the eye with a dart, he blinds them by poisoning them. It's not a stretch to assume the poison he injects in someone's bloodstream messes with all of their senses rather than just sight. Either way, being blind wouldn't give you an edge against poison.
Lee Sin being blinded by Graves and Nocturn makes less sense.

Yet it specifically states it blinds. Blind =/= deaf. Blind =/= numb. Blind =/= touch.
