Riot has reduced the masteries to a choice between 9 "new passives"

Masteries got less complex and less diverse IMO. You pick the 1 of 9 that best suits your needs then fill in the blanks accordingly. It always makes sense to go 18 and 12, it doesnt seem at all worthwhile to dip around with 18-6-6 or 10-10-10.

My main beef is that the 9 choices get very repetitive very fast. IMO there should be double the number of keys to choose from.

I dont know about double but 1-2 more per tree would be nice, right now it favors tanks and ad champions, there aren't many option for non-tank/ap champions.
