Solo/Duo Queue rework please

Morgana I am a support main struggling to get out of bronze. In a game that requires synergy from both "teammates" and team compositions, the solo/duo queue scene is left to be lackluster as the professional team scene takes the spotlight. Now, I don't have a problem with flex queue being based off of wins and losses as you are generally queueing as a duo, trio, or 5-man (Rito bless the souls that solo queue for flex games). The problem with deciding rank for solo/duo queue based solely on wins and losses is that it isn't reliant on the individual's performance at all, despite already having an individual grading in place. I would like to propose that solo/duo queue be granted LP based on the grade received per match. Now, I know that it wouldn't be the easiest thing to do, but it wouldn't be impossible. There have been plenty of games where we've gone in and hard carried our team to victory, getting that sweet sweet S/S+ cause we earned it; the flip side is that there have been those games where we go in and roll face on the wrong side of the keyboard, feed lane, and ultimately owe our team a chiropractic massage for carrying our boosted asses to victory.

The nice thing about this idea, however, is that it allows players who excel at their champion-role to climb like they should (as the current grading system is based off of the average of all players who take that champion into that role/lane). It also would prevent people from being carried to ELOs that they realistically don't belong in or deserve to be in. It also gives way for people to be more mindful of their picks. There is a mindset in S/D Q that team comp doesn't matter as much as an individual playing a champ that they are good/great at. There are times this works, but in all honesty it is the exception and not the rule. It would also be helpful given the current auto-fill system as well. I had a game where someone was filled in as jungle, never played jungle, and then ask the mid laner (in the middle of their first clear) if they could have the blue. If you do well that game, you deserve the LP.

A brief thought on LP gains and losses would look like this: S+/S/S-: gain significant LP
A+/A/A- gain LP B+/B/B- gain slight LP C+/C/C- lose LP D+/D/D- lose significant LP

You could even break up B's into: B+ gain slight LP, B gain no LP, B- lose slight LP; or even do so for each grade's +/0/- value.

TL;DR: really tired of losing LP because of incompetence from other's despite personally doing well. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

P.S.: No, I'm not a god tier, I don't think that. Just a frustration I've had since trying to rank last season and consistently hearing, "oh well, don't climb as a support til you're silver/gold." Just let me play the role I enjoy. kthenks*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

I wish they looked at more variables for match making and for lp gains but grading system wouldn't work. It's too easy to influence and abuse and would ruin how people play the game. Like for jungle I can get an S if I just farm my ass off and don't really apply much pressure. But.... that obviously doesn't help the team as much especially in the current meta.

Support in bronze is frustrating and I wouldn't be able to do it anymore since it would drive me crazy. But if I had to get out of bronze or silver playing support I could as I have before. But it does take a toll on the soul. I main jungle now since I have more control over the game. Although plat junglres kind of shit on me so If I wanted to get to plat I would need to get better at jungling or switch roles and get better at like support or something.

would be unbalanced because some champs are easier to get an S on than others, also getting a S does not signify the entire scope of doing well. I would think some sort of hybrid system would be better where getting a higher grade augments your score instead of it being solely dependant on your grade.
