So tell me why can't we have a pause function in this game? And don't give me the it can be abused bullshit. Dota 2 has a pause function. Can it be abused? Yes it can, but it overall does more good than bad. It ensures players time to get back into the game should they ever dc. And if the player rage quit? Then he loses a shit ton of mmr while the other members of the team are safe to leave the game.

Yeah yeah blah blah "people will just get into groups and have one guy quit if things go bad." That's not an excuse to not have a pause function. If you don't want that then make the pause function exclusive to solo queue and then people won't have an incentive to abuse it.

I don't get why we can't have that? Why can't we have a way to ensure we don't lose the game just because someone was unfortunate enough to have his internet killed in the middle of the game? What's so freaking hard about implementing it? I'm fine with losing if I get outplayed, but if I lose because the enemy team had enough time to close the gold deficit, then that's when I have a problem.

SO you want 9 people to sit there for 20 minutes with the game paused because your teammate dc'd? I don't like afks either but no thanks.

Hey, if that's what it takes. If the player isn't coming back, then people don't want to play the game anymore. And someone can deactivate the pause if it's gone on long enough and then the game can resume. Something needs to be done to lessen the frustration of players. Someone playing a video game should NEVER feel frustrated. That's the worst feeling a gamer could ever have.

The entire player base is frustrated, Riot doesn't care though because most of them will still spend their money and the bottom line is that's all they care about is taking their billions and running ASAP. People hate this game with a passion because of the shitty community, and the even shittier balance/development team who doesn't listen to anything the players say. They say they try to create diversity and games that can be turned around with teamwork but all they create is more solo-carry-unstoppable-when-fed items & champions and then make champions that are popular unplayable due to overnerfing. I have never seen a gaming company worse at balancing or ignoring the people who pay their salary, the players.
