Can we get a different jungle item for fiddlesticks?

The Ap jungle item is lack luster. The Runeglaive procs on fiddles auto attacks and It never feels like it doesn't anything. It feels like you lose out on damage as sometimes it wont even proc after using your E unless u wait for the E to hit on jungle creeps and sometimes the W times out so it won't proc on the ability either. Should I just skip the Runeglaive and hunter machete or should i upgrade the machete then sell it later on. That seems a nerf to fiddlesticks jungle and wasteful gold spending.
