Living with poop MMR

So I finished last season in gold 3 then placed BRONZE I QQ and grinded like 250 games to make it to back to gold. I was playing plat border players when i made it to gold then holy crap i had a 13 game lose streak! and a 6 game lose streak shortly after. Only now I have won 4 in a row... jesus bless me. 16lp for a win from 23 when i got up here. I know I just gotta win like a crap ton in a row to get it back up right?

But, bless my soul... this is an incredibly bad situation for mmr so even tho i didnt drop from gold V on losing a bajillion games I still play in poop head butt elo cuz elo tanked QQ and that is what really matters. Is there an emotional support group for those recovering from post-promo tilt? :)

once you place gold 5 on new account you'll be gaining maybe over 20 if you were a g00d boy in provisionals

Well I'd lose all my champs and skins and runes by doing that. Also, this account's mmr can be saved by a good win streak that would take way less time than lvling a new account. Only like 30 games ago I was playing with last season plats. But I do realize you're really just here to rub it in and elo shame cuz u got diamond 5 and think ur a god so fuck if this explanation means anything.

You played with last season plats, because those were the ones who were boosted to plat 5 LMFAO.

I've been to pcbangs and most people order the Plat 5 package. Trust me, you're not playing in high MMR, you're 49% win rate homie.

Do you wanna practice against real plat players, instead of boosted ones?

hey why not post on your real account? did you buy this one on pcbangs? first time i've heard of it tbh. the plats I was playing with and against were definitely much better than the people i played against now and the people i played against when i did placements.

I can play against real plat players and be a real plat player by improving my game play and winning more games. Just won my last 5. It's progress. It's not like you should just abandon an account after a rough spell. You actually have to grind and go fight through streaks to get better.

It's nonsense to abandon an account just because win rate is 4 games under. It's not about where you are ranked or what ur mmr is on Jan 4 about a month after the season began. It's about consistently improving your gameplay by learning from mistakes and better players.

Have fun gaining +16 and losing -20 and over

You'll win 2 in a row and lose 1 and all your LP gains will be completely lost. Trust me, it's horrible.

+16 +16 = 32 and say if you lose 23

You've only net gained 9 lp from playing 3 games.

Compared to REAL NORMAL MMR

+27 +26 ( what im getting right now ) -16

37 net gain, a whole 28 difference compared to a measly 9.

Good luck convincing others that making a new account improves game play. Funny, how am I cocky? I just lost 17 out of 20 god damn games lol i know i'm not good. I watch my own replays and notice that I combo'd a minion instead of master yi when i went in to clean up a fight 2 games ago and I ulted the spot katarina was at right before she shunpo onto me the same game and gave a shutdown because of it.

So you know after you watch yourself fuck up on replay you can learn something from it like.. why do i need a shield before kat is in range of me? why did i click on a minion? Maybe next time I will have the patience to wait for kat to use her shunpo. Next time I'll attack move champions in a minion wave.

Making a new account to improve mmr is stupid. WTF is high MMR good for if u don't have the skill to maintain it ??? Apparently you were either good enough to get to diamond 5 but dumb enough to not realize that skill>mmr>rank, or you just got boosted/bought ur account(I strongly suspect). :)

getting matched against ACTUAL Plat players, not like plat is anything crazy to be matched against.

I'm just calling out facts here.. If you're 49% win rate in Gold FIVE. You are most likely playing against S6 boosted plat 5.

Even you just said it, in his last Eve game he went against Silver 4, almost a full tier below his current one. He was literally the only Gold or remotely " high silver " player on the team.

When I first reached gold I was playing with and against last season plats who were placed in gold and even a few in plat this season. You can actually click "View more games" and look at who i was playing in the first loss of my 13 game lose streak since you seem so concerned about it and win rate shaming :) Why do u give a fuck anyways though?
