When your plat 2 and getting repeatable gold players on yoru team and enemy team has plat diamond ont here team how does it work? seems pretty unlegit. I feel like i should just get demoted to Gold V then solo climb to fix it or just make a new account.? Thoughts?
Only plat 5 so, yeah... You're gonna be placed with gold players. As for the plat and diamond players their mmr must suck. Try hard and get mad gains.
I was plat 1 last season and tilted down to plat 5. I see a silver banner every single game now despite them being "plats" this season, and sure enough, they play like silvers. It is a miracle if my team has even a single other plat banner.
You get placed based on your MMR. It is possible to be P5 and have P1 MMR or G4 MMR. So if you are P4 it is possible you are with D5s that are about to demote, hence the diamonds in your game, or G5s that have P5 MMR that are still climbing. The matches are still balanced based on MMR, so looking at ranks is kinda pointless honestly.
