Changes to ARAM........Poll.

Anyone else think the changes made it FAR FAR FAR more snowbally then it already was.

I don't think the changes you made had a positive affect on the ARAM experience.

I understand their reasoning (shorter games in ARAM) but it wasnt exactly a good change

ARAM didn't need anything, why did they waste their time with it? now they're just breaking something that was already perfect...

I haven't got enough gametime during this patch, so I cannot vote yet. In theory the changes appear to be okay:

  • gold generation item removal is balanced by CS gold generation to all team members present +-0
    • however, removal of options is removal of variety. That is a minus. -1
  • health relic change: doesn't affect things that much +-0
  • Assist duration increase: I kind of like that. +1
  • Minion spawn changes: more gold means shorter games. I prefer little longer games, so I don't like that too much, but if ARAM is supposed to be the quick gamemode, that adds in achievíng that goal. +-0
  • Super minion super-up: I think that might be overpowered. This one I consider slightly bad change. However, I suffer from AD superiority complex, so my opinion on that armor increase might be colored by that. I have to give that a -½ for now, since I need more experience about that.
  • Poro-changes: only thing that has any game effect as far as I can see is Blood scent change. Since that affects both teams, it is okay. +-0

So in theory (and gut feeling from two aram matches) I got to my current conclusion of -½ points or a "slightly bad change, maybe". That is with very little actual playing the game with the changes.

Edit; I have now played more and gotten the feel for the new aram. It is as I suspected above; Super minion buff was too heavy handed. I don't like that. Other changes were okay.

Seriously, I feel like the opposite effect happened and the games are longer, it seemed like mage range spells were nerfed so it took forever to even poke down the enemy side

The only changes ARAM needed was to punish dodgers by keeping them locked on the champ they dodged with until they actually play that game.
