Leblanc is the only assassin that got reworked because of PRO-PLAY.

Since everyone is starting to talk about assassins I thought let me make a post about her. where do I start hmm...

I started to play/main Leblanc in season 6. I remember that she had a win-rate of 46.7% me myself had 63% win-rate 52 games ranked with her. I felt like Faker when playing this champion I swear, he was the guy that made me start playing her and he is the reason why she got the rework but I will come back to this.

Leblanc at season 6 was balanced for solo q. I mean no one on the boards crying about her and she could only 100-0 if she was fed. Even if she was fed the adc could easily stop her burst with buying maw (within my games ADCs didn't when you confront them about it they get mad and say I won't have enough dmg ROFL). so the W-Q-R combo wouldn't work.

So why did riot rework her? I feel like it's because of the pro-play/faker this champion was 100% banned against Faker, this man looked like he was smurfing with Leblanc in LCK ROFL. And many more pros started to play her so riot had to do something about it.

The rework made her broken why? because all they did was delay her burst but make EVERYTHING SO EASY TO HIT. increase hitboxes, chains that had an insane range, giving an assassin a good wave clear ROFL. no wonder they instantly gutted her after that and promised us a rework again. still waiting -.-

I personally tried the new Leblanc but couldn't enjoy her anymore her whole gameplay changed you had to play her like a mage now not an assassin. so I end up not playing her anymore. when your #1 mastery champion has "Best grade: N/A" for a whole season. feelsbadman :S

That is how I feel about Leblanc.

Now let me talk about the assassin rework and why it was a failure.

When they released the assassin rework, they also released all the new support shielding/healing items. this was a huge problem. riot u had to choose one, not both.

And of course, the reworks felt so poor for the most assassins. Only 2 assassins that came out good was Katarina and Talon. The rest of the reworks were horrible, rushed and felt like riot didn't care about them.

this is how I feel about the whole assassin class.

I use to play a lot of them now I don't because they don't fit into the meta riot is pushing Team-fighting since season 6 there is no solo carry potential in this game anymore. that is why I prefer mages/ burst mages now they are more useful in team fighting then assassins.
